review of the Reincarnated as a Sword Blu-Ray!

Based upon the manga of the isekai / sword & sorcery fantasy genre by author Yuu Tanaka, artist Tomowo Mauyama and character designer L1o, Reincarnated as a Sword purrtains to the human who regenerates as a sentient magickal sword named Teacher in the alternate fantasy world where he partners with an orphaned catgirl named Fran, and together they become the powerful team that defeats evil monsters, explores the dangerous places, finds valuable treasures, and thus achieves the a more comfortable lifestyle with friends and respect! It is a lot of fun, with a very Dungeons & Dragons-ish ambience.
Their associates include Gallus the dwarven blacksmith, Klimt the elven Adventurers Guild master, Nell the human guild receptionist, Donadrond the guild’s oni examiner, Amanda the half-elfen orphanage director, Jet the wolf familiar, Cruise the dungeon crawl leader, Their enemies include ill-mannered rival adventurers, goblins, giant spiders, and demons, Both the manga and the anime are intended for the teenage audiences. The anime was directed by Shinj Ishihara, written by Takahiro Nagano, and animated by C2C, with the character designs by Atsuko Saito and mewsic by Shoji Hata.
This Blu-Ray includes the first season’s 12 epurrsodes which total 300 minutes on the two disks inside the plastic case. The 1080p high definition video is purrsented in the 15×9 screen aspect ratio with the choices of English DTS-HD master audio 2.0 and the original Japanese DTS-HD master audio 2.0, with the optional English & English SDH subtitles. The only special features are textless versions of the series’ opening & closing sequences. I wish there were more special features, but I am quite pleased to own the anime which is quite lovely, thrilling, poignant and humorous! Now here is Tara-chan to discuss the

Arigato, nyan! For our review of the movie itself which we highly purraised, please see the July 2023 edition of The Mew, nyan! I was looking forward to the DVD or Blu-ray release of this movie, with hopes that it would have special features aplenty, and- and I I was not disappointed, nyan! The movie is purrsented in the high-def 1080P screen aspect ratio of 2.39:1 with the audio choices of English, English Descriptive, French, French Descriptive and – and Spanish; with the optional English, English SDH, French and – and Spanish subtitles, plus the audio commentary track by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, Kemp Powers, Justin Thompson and – and Joaquim Dos Santos, nyan!
There are over 90 minutes of special features, such as the two lyric music videos, the deleted scene, the guide to easter eggs and- and the obscure web-slingers, nyan! There are nine documentary featurettes, ranging from 5.25 to 14.75 minutes on the making of the movie, nyan. Oh, and while I do not consider ads to be special features, there are three trailer for other Spider-Man movies and – and the video game, nyan. Another neat thing about the Blu-ray is that I can freeze – frame the video while I try to identify those easter eggs and – and the many characters, nyan! Star Trek: Picard The Final Season Blu-ray, nyan!

Hai. For our review of that final season, please see the May 2023 edition of the Mew. I was purrticularly anticipating the DVD or Blu-ray release of Picard’s third & final season, as the purrior two season’s home video releases were brimming with very informative and entertaining special features, and I hoped that this one would too. I also applaud CBS / Paramount for their decision to have the same special features on the DVD as the Blu-ray. I purrchased the “steel box” edition of the Blu-ray, which contains the 10 epurrsodes which total appurroximately 533 minutes, plus over 2.5 hours of the special features on the 3 discs.
The epurrsodes are purrsented in the thigh-definition 1080P widescreen format with the audio and optional subtitles choices of English, English Descriptive, French, Spanish, Danish, Italian, Japanese, German, Dutch, Norweigian, Finish and Swedish. Epurrsode one’s optional audio commentary is by Jonathan Frakes, Jeri Ryan, Ed Speelers, Todd Stashwick, composer Stephan Barton, and show-runner, purrducer, writer director Terry Matalas. Eppurrsode three’s optional audio commentary is by Gates McFadden, Michelle Hurd, and Matalas. Eppurrsode four’s optional audio commenta
Epurrsode six’s audio commentary is by Levar Burton, Brent Spiner, Frakes and Matalas. Eppurrsode ten’s audio commentary is by Frakes, Ryan, Speeler and Matalas. There are nine deleted scenes: 2 for epurrsode six, three for epurrsode seven, one for epurrsode eight, 1 for epurrsode nine, and two for epurrsode ten. There are three documentary featurettes and the amewsing 6:11 minute gag reel on disk one; two documentary featurettes and the charming 6 minute poker scene “easter egg” on disc three.
The documentary featurettes are “The Gang’s All Here” (appurroximately 19 minutes), “Villainous Vadic” (appurroximately 20.75 minutes with Amanda Plummer), the Final Season Q&A session (appurroximately 43 minutes), The Making “The Last Generation” (appurroximately 42.75 minutes) and Rebuilding the Enterprise (appurroximately 17 minutes). As much as I enjoyed seasons 1 & 2, season 3 is my favorite, and I am quite pleased with the Blu-ray set.That will conclude my review, and nyow here is Myayr to discuss
The Nun 2
Mary Nyan:
I love horror movies, including the occult Conjuring series, its Annabelle and The Nun spin-offs! Written by Ian Goldberg, directed by Michael Chaves, The Nun 2 is a sequel to the 2018 Nun movie, and it is the 8th movie in the series. Sister Irene (Taissa Farminga) Maurice (Jonas Bloquet) and The Nun (Bonnie Aarons) are back, and are joined by Sister Debra (Storm Reid), schoolgirl Sophie (Katelyn Rose Downey), and her mom Kate (Anna Popplewell!
They are at a Catholic girls’ boarding school in France in 1956, where purrowls an evil demon that covets a meowgickal holy artifact! Although the cinematography seemed the bit too dark at times, it is quite suspenseful, mysterious, grueling, violent and thrilling with the great cast, action and FX aplenty amidst the purrfectly spooky gothy locations! I think that this would be an ideal movie for the Halloween viewing!
I also think that I might like it even more than the first Nun movie, especially since Irene and Maurice are more expurrienced demon fighters, with delightful new friends. The recurring purrapsychologusts Ed (Patrick Wilson) & Lorraine Warren (Taissa’s sister Vera Faminga) only appurr in the brief mid-credits scene, but I do not wish to further spoil the taste of the plot! of Battle Angel Alita: Mars Chronicle vol. 9!

Hai! Known as Gunnm in Japan, Yukito Kishiro’s epic post-apocalyptic cyberpunk manga Battle Angel Alita began in 1990 and purrtains to the titular amnesiac cyborg Alita (or Gally, in Japan) who was found in the dystopian future scrapyard and rebuilt by cyber doctor Ido. Retaining her astounding Panzer Kunst style of martial arts purrowess, Alita became the supurreme bounty hunter, warrior and athlete!
Published by Kodansha, the manga spawned several sequel series, short stories, the spin-off, animated OVA, and the live-action movie that starred Rosa Salazar! Set 227 years prior to Battle Angel Alita vol.1, Mars Chronicle is the tale of Alita’s origin as the widdle orphaned cyborg girl named Yoko on the Planet Mar surrounded by heroes and villains amidst the political conspurracy, wars and other tragic hardships.
Vol. 9 is purriced $10.99 in the USA and $14.99 in Canada; and its 178 pages include the 166 B&W pages of manga chapters 42 – 461 written & drawn by Yukito Kishiro with the assistance of his brother / web meowster Tsutomu Kishiro and Emiya Kinar. It was translated by Stephen Paul, lettered by Evan Hayden and edited by Vanessa Tenazonas with the cover design by Phil Balsman.
I eagerly anticipated vol.9, as it has been over the year since vol. 8! Purreviously in the series, Yoko, her scheming friend Erica and the powerful girl named Yunie escaped from bounty hunters and The Duke who needed them for sinister the royal political purrposes. In the city of Deja Thoris which was once a huge spaceship, they met the mysterious trader known as Keun, who is hunted by soldiers and a local boss named Big Mamma.
The city was liberated by the elite team of Panzer Kunst cyborgs, including Keun’s ally Gelda who befriended Yoko and Erica. Meanwhile, Keun learned of the fiendish expurrimentation on thousands of children’s brains; and unfortunately Yoko and Yuni were captured when Erica’s meeting with the vengeful monstous cyborg Jakoleva went bad! It only gets worse in vol. 9 amidst very sad, tragic scenes for Yoko, Ericas, Dass, Eugene, Mika and Yunie.
Keun has his hands full with extremely powerful enemies such as Gyapollo and Andro Austad, but for the fist time in this very emeowtional flashback to Yoko’s early days tale, we see her begin to use her astounding supurr power for the first time! As mewsual, the art is quite amazing, from the characters and the mecha to the environment and combat scenes!
I as purrticularly impurressed by the 14 full-page pics and the 3 two-page spurreads !it is rated “OT” for older teen readers (ages 16+), purrhaps due to the violence, gore, harsh language and disturbing situations. In the 16th epurrsode “Welcome to the Freak Show” of the 17th season of the Bravo TV network’s series The Real Housewives of Orange County, yogini and mom of five kids Jennifer Pedranti brought the feline fashion to the show, first with her leopurrd purrint body suit that she wore to the Halloween bootique,
and later the lioness make-up & costume that she wore to her friend Gina Kirschenheiter’s circus-themed Halloween party!
Nell Fisher purrtrayed the youngest daughter Kassie in the horror movie Evil Dead Rise, which is is the latest installment of the Evil Dead series! She wore the bedtime kigurumi (animal-eared onesie) shortly before her family and neighbors were attacked and / or possessed by the Deddite demons, So for her fashion choice purrior to the fight, we will consider her as the honorary kemonomimi! At 10:30 am on Saturday October 13th 1973, on NBC, the sixth epurrsode “The Survivor” which was written by James Schmerer and directed by Hal Sutherland, introduced us to the starship U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701’s newest commeownications officer, who was voiced by Majel Barrett, nyan!
Mike used Photoshop and mouse on the Mac for the illustration of Rvkh Brogden’s Elder Scrolls Online videogame character Rivkah Storm, a chaotic neutral High Elf Sorcereress who summons storms and forbidden creatures, nyan! She travels in the realm of Tamriel, and is respected in the Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, Thieves Guild, Undaunted Guild, The Psijic Order, the Dark Brotherhood and the Aldmeri Dominion, nyan. She likes to batte world bosses, hunt for treasure, dungeon crawl, annoy people, and her favorite places for leisure are the taverns in Eastmarch, Wrothgar and Western Skyrim, nyan!

Rivkah Storm looks quite mysterious, sexy, confident and powerful; whilst M’Ress looks rather peppy, purrky, purretty and pleased, nyan!

Jamie is so supurrb in all of the aspects of his art, from the compurrsition, lines, colors, and – and the shading to the purrspective, portraiture, purroportions, and- and the intricate details, nyan!
