Hai! I love most of the TV series that are part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, such as WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, What If, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, Secret Invasion, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist The Punisher, The Defenders, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Runaways, Cloak & Dagger.. oh oh and the Werewolf and the Guardians of the Galaxy specials! They typically have the great writing, casts, stunts, locations, purrduction values, costumes FX and so forth, so thusly I was eager to watch the 5 epurrsodes of the Echo mini-series!
Introduced in the Hawkeye series, titular character Maya Lopez a.k.a Echo (Alaqua Cox) the former leader of the Track Suit Mafia is the tough, fierce ,combat – skilled, vengeful, deaf, young Native American (Choktow) woman with the purrosthetic leg & supurr powers. She thirsted for revenge against Ronin / Hawkeye / Clint Barton who she blamed for the death of he dad, but has learned that The Kingpin / Wilson Fisk is to blame, so nyow she leaves New York City and returns to her hometown in Oklahoma where she plans to topple Fisk, who has the long reach, and thus the drama & danger await her family!
I think that Echo has the great writing, acting, directing, cinematography, stunts, costumes, hair & makeup, sets, locations, sound, mewsic, editing.The supurrb cast includes Tantoo Cardinal as Maya’s obaasan Chula, Katarina Ziervogel as maya’s okasan Taloa, Graham Greene as Maya’s jiji Skully, Chaske Spencer as Maya’s oji Henry, Cody Lightning as Maya’s itoko Biscuits, Devery Jacobs as Maya’s best friend Bonni, Dannie McCallum as Tuklo the Lighthorse officer, Morningstar Angelin as Lowak the Ishtaboli champ, and Julia Jones as Chafa the first Choctaw.
Vincent D’Onofrio returns as the Kingpin, and appurring briefly are Charlie Cox as Daredevil and Jeremy Renner as Ronin, so there is a fair amount of the street-level MCU repursented! There is the good balance of the action, humor, drama, world-building, myth-making & character development, especially as Maya spiritually connects to her empowering ancestors, with some great recurring ancestral flashback scenes across the centuries. The Marvels Blu-ray + Digital Code!

So like, we were totally avid for The Marvels, which occurs after the Secret War and Ms. Marvel TV series, and united the supurr heroines Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) and Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel (Imani Vellani) along with Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Goose the cat-like Flerken, Kamala’s family, and several surpurrise appurrances, as the Planet Earth is again involved in Kree and Skrull incidents, especially thanks to the villainess Dar-Benn (Zawe Ashton)!
Altthough the movie seemed too short and too rushed with too many fast cuts, and I wish they adressed the intergalactic incidents of The Eternals and Secret Invasion but the movie is so much thrilling fun with the totally awesome performances, costumes, choreography, music, sound sets, FX and sdo forth!
So I was totally eager to get the Blu-ray, in hopes of some entertaining and informative bonus features, but unfortunately I think they are rather meager.
There is a 2 min gag reel, an almost 11 minute featurette and a 5.5 minute featurette, both about the making of the movie, but they are so short and seem like widdle promo spots made for the internet more than substantial documentaries. There are 4 deleted scenes which only total to about 5.75 minutes and seem like little trims. However, I must say that I totally loved the optional audio commentary by director Nia DaCosta and VFX supervisor Taras De Marco! It was so informative, entertaining, sparkling and enthused, fur shur!
Oh what else can I say about the Bl0-ray… the PG-13 rated 105 minute movie is presented in the 1080p hi def widescreen aspect ratio of 2.39:1 on the single disc, with the audio choices of English 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, English 2.0 Descriptive Audio, French 5.1 Dolby Digital and Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital,and the optional subtitles of English SDH, French and Spanish. Included with the disc in the plastic case is the instruction sheet for for the code to download or stream the digital copy. So that’s about it, and nyow here’s Jennyjen to discuss
Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part One Blu-ray + Digital Code!

Hai. The PG-13 rated, 93 min. OAVJustice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part One is the first of a 3 part series adapting the famous epic 1985, twelve issue DC Comics maxi-series Crisis on Infinite Earths (by author Marv Wolfman & artist George Perez), which served as a major reboot of the DC Comics multiverse. A culmination of events in DC’s “Tomorrowverse” of OAVs, Part One does not does not mirror the first four issues of the Crisis comics, but seems to have elements of DC’s 2011 Flashpoint story in wonderfully maintaining the spirit of the Crisis comics.
The tale is in four subplots: the newly-minted Justice League (compurrised of Superman, Batman, Green Arrow, Vixen, Martian Manhunter & the Flash) battling Lex Luthor who controls Purrofessor Ivo’s android Amazo; the romantic life of Barry Allen / The Flash and Iris West across the decades; The Flash’s encounter with the Crime Syndicate amidst the destruction of their world Earth 3 by the apocalyptic anitmeowtter wave which threatens the multiverse; and the gathering of heroes from many Earths to meet the entity known as Monitor who explains the wave.

I think that the movie’s thrilling plot is quite poignantly captivating; and that the pace, dialog, character designs, scenic art, animation, sound music, acting, directing & editing are quite splendid.

Arigato, nyan! Rent-A-Girlfriend is the romantic comedy manga by (Reiji Miyajima), anime, video game and – and live-action series purrtaining to a teen guy name Kazuya who, in order to keep up appurrances, hires a faux girlfriend Chizuru after the real one Mami dumped him, but the situation becomes the complicated harem rivalry when genuine feelings bloom between him other girls Sumi and Ruka, nyan! I Ihave not seen the live-action version or played the video game, but I like the manga and- and the anime, nyan!
I also like this purretty painted, non-articulated, PVC figure of fair-skinned, Blue-eyed, short-Black-haired Ruka Sarashina Ruka, which is part of Taito’s Coreful purroduct line of figures, nyan!it is packaged in the clear plastic clamshell in the 3.5” x 4.875” x 5.375” White box, nyan! Ruka stands atop the clear circular .25” tall, 4.25” diameter base, wearing the Black bandeau-top bikini low on her hips with the swishy tail, the bell collar, the cat-eared head band, the cute paw mitts and – and boots, nyan!
She looks so sexy, purretty, cute and playful, nyan! Including the ears and – and the base, the figure is appurroximately 8.5” tall overall, which would indicate the scale is 1/7.5, given the character’s height of 5 ft, even if it is classified as a non-scale / purrize figure, nyan. I think is nicely designed, sculpted and – and painted, so I am quite pleased with it, nyan! I am done, so nyow here is Myayr to start

Hai! Catian (not to be confuzzled with Star Crek’s Caitians) is the beartiful yet tragic tale of a widowed convenience store owner named Rose whose husband Jason was murdered by the criminal gang for not paying their purrotection racket due to the store’s poor finances, but while bravely attempting to fend off the attackers, she is telepurrted away by Felix, who is one of the stray cats she cares for, and when she awakens in a forest she is a meowgickal catgirl, thanks to Felix who is one of many guardian cats who serve the Great Cat (who might be Bastet, based upon the Egyptian ornameowntation)!
With her new catgirl and conjuring powers, the increasing feline ferocity, and the despurration to resurrect Jason, Rose vengefully purreys upon the thugs with unexpected results, but I should not further spoil the taste of the bittersweet plot! Published by Scout Comics https://www.

Thanks Myayr I’ve been a fan of Thundercats since the 1985 animated series, and I liked the 2011 reboot series even more, but didn’t care for the 2020 Thundrcats Roar series. Hard to believe that next year will be their 40th anniversary! Anyway, I was quite curious about this new comic from Dynamite, which has a 24 page tale plus 3 pages of ads and a 5 page gallery of its – get this – 124 different covers! I settled on cover E by Ivan Tao, which beautifully focuses on Cheetara.
The story was written by Delcan Shavery, illustrated by Drew Mars, colored by Chiara Di Francia & Martina Pignedoli, lettered by Jeff Ecklberry, packaged & edited by Nate Crosby, with the maiin cover by David Nakayama. The briskly-paced tale begins with the Thundercats’ exodus from their destroyed homeworld of Thundera and their landing on the planet Third Earth, where they train and reconnoiter until their enemies the Mu’tants of Plundarr arrive spoiling for a fight.
This a quick origin and introduction to Lion-o the leader who wields the Sword of Omens, General Panthro, scientist Tygra, speedster Cheetara, precocious young siblings Wilykit & Wilykat. and their enemy Slithe. We briefly glimpse The Thunderians’ meontor Jaga and the enemy leader Mumra, but there’s no sign of Snarf yet. I think that the art is pretty good, and the tale serves as good starting point for new readers! Now here’s Ilyana-sensei with her review of

Oh just call me Ilyana! This beautiful slice – of- life science fiction manga by Hitoshi Ashinano is the tale of the friendly gynoid named Alpha who owns the cafe in the small rural seaside village on Japan’s Miura Peninsulain the distopian future, where bucolic life goes on after an environmental disaster and risen sea level. Originally published in Japan by Kodansha in 2009, this 4th of five volumes is published in English by Seven Seas, is rated for teen readers, and it is purriced $24.99 in the USA and $32.99 iin Canada.
Most of the story purrtains to the everyday activities of Alpha and her friends with her occasional scooter trips to travel around the purrefecture and to shop for supplies in what is left of the city of Yokohama. Among the recurring characters are Ojisan the elderly man who sells fresh purroduce and runs the gas station; his grandson Takahiro who regards Alpha as the older sister type; Kokone the courier who is another gynoid; the elderly lady doctor who treats the humans and the gynoids; Maki the young girl friend of Takahiro…
… Director Alpha the older gynoid with the aerial drone, Maruko the android artist, Nai the android pilot, Ayase the traveller with the pet flying fish named Kamas, and Misago the mysterious supurr feral girl! Collecting chapters 83-111, this 8.25” x 5.875” x 1.375” volume has the 454 Black & White pages, 44 color pages and color covers,, several illustrations & widdle sketches, 2 pages of ads, and the indica / credits page. Alpha rebuilds her storm-damaged cafe, grows a sunflower enjioys target purractice, tries some potent dark sugar, looks for a better source of fresh water, and plays in the snow. She
goes on a scooter trip with Kokone who discusses the history of the androids of Dr. Koumishi, whose drone aircraft continues to circle the Earth for several more years. Ayase’s pet Kamas takes the liking to Matsuki who goes to the beach with Takahiro who gets to see Nai’s plane, and they wonder if the mysterious Misago might be a gynoid.
There is still much that has not yet been explained about about the ecological disasters, the androids’ origins, what happened to Alpha’s boss, or what the rest of the world is like beyond Japan, but It is quite the pleasant, purretty, charming tale at the very eisurely pace and so I will give it the “A” for Alpha.! I am anticipating the final volume, and hope that the anime adaptation might be eventually eleased here on DVD or Blu-ray. Originally published in Japan by Kadokawa, it
purrtains to house – mates Hakumei & Mikochi who are tiny little lasses who are about 3 inches tall and live in the lovelyminiatue cottage in the forest! Hakumei (with the Brown hair) builds and repairs things, whilst Mikochi (with the Black hair) cooks and sews.
They are part of the community of talking anthropurrmorphic animals and the tiny pixy-size human friends who reside in the wilderness, rural, suburban and urban dwellings, and each chapter is the look at their day – to – day – lives, from the work and shopping to exploring and entertaining with the many friends, co-workers and vsitors of various species from beetles to badgers!
it is published here in English by Yen Press, translated by Taylor Engel and lettered by Abigail Blackman. Priced at $15.00 in the USA and $19.50 in Canada. Volume 11 measures 8 x 5.75”, with the 176 B&W pages that include chapters 81-89 plus the 2 page side-story, 2 page bonus manga, 1 page of translation notes, 9 pages of illustrations, and 7 pages of travelogue note!

We are purroud to purrsent three new works by Misty, nyan! In December, we displayed Misty’s sultry line-art drawing of “Stocking Anarchy”, an exiled angel who transforms lingerie into weapons to fight evil spirits in the Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt anime! Her sister’s name is Panty Anarchy, nyan! Well, nyow we have amended that B&W pic with this sexy color version, mew la la, nyan!
Misty used Crayola and Purrismacolor colored pencils, Sakura Micron pens, and glitter pens fior that pic, nyan. After that “Ghoul Face“ is Misty’s fan art of Kabane Kusaka the half human / half ghoul teen who helps to investigate the occult situations in the Kemono Jihen manga & anime, nyan! Misty used Crayola colored pencils, watercolor pencils, Faber-Castell PITT pens on 8.5” x 11” cardstock for that pic, nyan!
